What I’m loving this week.

11 Jan

George Michael.  That’s right.  George Michael. Not that I ever don’t love George, I’m just loving him a lot this week.  I tend to go through phases when I will listen to one band/singer non-stop and nothing else.  I won’t even get started on my E.L.O. month.  My roommate only once commented on it.  Ok, maybe twice. But he was still very pleasant about it.  But tell me, is there anything more mood boosting than a little George?

This is so saucy.  I want to drink a glass of something fruity and head to the club.  Ok, that’s a lie.  I don’t go clubbing.  But if I did, this is what I would listen to as I got ready.

This is one of my favorite videos of all time.  These are also my favorite supermodels of all-time.  They just don’t make them like this anymore.  They aren’t emaciated like the majority of the models today.  I love you Evangelista. You too Naomi. I don’t care that you are bat-shit crazy.  Who isn’t a little bit crazy? And Christy and Cindy look exactly the same.  I actually almost bought a skin-care line off of an infomercial this morning this morning because Cindy endorsed it. My phone was literally in my hand when my husband walked downstairs.  The one morning he gets up early and I almost get busted doing something ridiculous.  So I just smiled and emailed the website to myself instead.  It was a steal at $39.95 people!

This is probably my favorite song.  I will sing so loud no matter who is around.  Although it’s generally in the privacy of my own car. What I would give to go back in time and go to this concert in the video.  So much twirling. So much hair.  So much fabulous.

And of course, Faith. This is pretty much a no-brainer. Does anyone not like this song? He kind of looks like Sexy Rexy is this video. Well, the actor at least.

Oh, my God I’m going to throw a Rex Manning Day party.  INSPIRED.

What I’m loving this week.

This guy has sass and a half.  I want him to come over and sing Ava to sleep.

Speaking of sleep, this looks hilarious:

Go the Fuck to Sleep Go the Fuck to Sleep Book is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing off to dreamland. Honest, profane, and affectionate, Adam Mansbach’s verses and Ricardo Cortés’ illustrations perfectly capture the familiar—and unspoken—tribulations of putting your little angel down for the night, and open up a conversation about parenting in the process. Beautiful, subversive, and pants-wettingly funny…”
